Dr. Peter Goodwin is the Project Director of Idaho EPSCoR.  Goodwin is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Center for Ecohydraulics Research at the University of Idaho.  Goodwin earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests include systems approaches to ecological restoration of river, wetland and estuarine systems and creating simulation models for flood management, sediment management, geomorphic evolution and environmental management. He is currently Vice President of the International Association for Hydroenvironment Engineering and Research (www.iahr.org). He serves as the scientific advisor for several government agencies related to river and wetland management issues, including chairing the Louisiana Coastal Area Science Board.
